After 30 years as CEO and owner of Buehler Companies, Stuart Smith has decided to sell the majority ownership of the company to Scott Luedke, the current President and General Manger, and David Pryor, the current CFO.
Buehler Companies, a renowned moving and logistics company headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with branches in Albuquerque, Fort Worth and Colorado Springs, is excited to announce this significant leadership transition. Stuart Smith has accomplished many visionary ideas for Buehler Companies during his tenure as owner. Under Stuart’s leadership, he expanded the company with three additional branches, acquired Student Movers of Denver, and helped develop Buehler Companies into the 2nd largest Mayflower Van Lines Hauler. Stuart Smith is a devoted owner who cherishes each and every employee. He has created an energizing culture and work place that will continue to flourish under new management.
Scott Luedke has been an employee with Buehler Companies for over 30 years. He started out as a mover on the trucks and worked in many roles over the years before becoming President and General Manager. Scott is excited to continue building on the existing culture of the company and developing Buehler Companies reputation further as an outstanding moving and logistics company.
David Pryor who will continue as CFO, and take on the additional role of COO, stated “Our focus will remain on providing exceptional moving and logistics services while exploring new opportunities for growth and innovation. Stuart’s guidance as chairman will be invaluable as we move forward.”
