About Buehler Moving & Storage
In 1912 Buehler Moving & Storage first started hitching a horse to a wagon transporting settlers trunks from the train station to Denver hotels. As more people moved west, Buehler Transfer prospered and in the 1920s went from horse and carts to trucks and from trunks to furniture.
Stuart Smith purchased the company in 1994. Stuart is committed to on-going investment in the company to find new and better ways to provide for customer’s needs. Since acquiring the company, Stuart has purchased an additional Mayflower agency in Fort Worth, Texas, two United Agencies (one in Fort Worth and one in Denver) to form Alliance Relocation Services, Manitou Express and Mountain View Moving & Storage in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a record storage business, an open storage business and recently, SAM Store and Move portable storage units.
In addition to acquisitions, we utilize state-of-the art software for each major business line to provide our customers with exceptional service. We are also proud of our extremely experienced and capable management team and service providers.
Buehler is ranked as the fourth largest agency in the entire Mayflower fleet. Awards received by the company include the Million Dollar Club Award for the last eight consecutive years and the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce recognized Buehler with their Small Business of the Year award in 1999.

Do you really want to have to worry about driving a rental truck across town or across the country? Being one of the largest agencies in the Unigroup fleet allows Buehler/Alliance the ability to maintain direct control on all shipments.
We offer valuation coverage in case of loss or damage. This is not available to you should you decide to move yourself.
Background and drug testing is required for every employee at Buehler Companies. No other van line goes to the extent that Unigroup agencies are required to do for back ground checks. This is one more example of ensuring a comfort for the transferee knowing the individuals entering their residence have been cleared.
